Make up is an art. The face is your canvas and your eyes are the window to your soul.

step one
Start with a clean canvas and leave no spot empty. The true artist makes sure he fills every spot on the canvas.
Put a decent amount of powder and liquid foundation. spread evenly and top with a clear "mineral veil."


Tip*Cover up your dark under eye circles with some lighter foundation*



Step Two
Define, clean, and perfect those windows for the perfect look. The artist blends and shades colors to define, and clean up a painting.
Put a primer on the eyelid. Now line the eye with your favorite eyeliner. blend and smudge the eyeliner for the perfect crease. Now find an eyeshadow trio in your favorite shades. Spread the lightest shade all over eyelid up to eyebrow, put the midde shade over eyelid, and the darkest shade on your crease. Curl your lashes and put mascara on the top and bottom. Make sure your brows are groomed. If needed fill in some spots with and eyebrow filler.


Tip*Line your waterline with a white eyeliner and put the white eyeliner on the inner conners of your eye*

Sorry I've been neglecting my blog for the longest time! anyways whilst my time away I've found some of the best make-up tips on earth!


EYES
The eyes are the windows to the face, as my priest once told me. It's the first thing you see, and the first thing you scrutinize. Keep your windows clean, and beautiful.


• Try to avoid heavy liner, why should you shade you beauties like that? Also keep it light on top, the more on top the smaller your eyes appear.

• Put mascara on your bottom lashes after liner. your eyes appear larger.

• To give that 'I got 10 hours of sleep last night' look put a white shimmery shadow on the inner corner of your eyes.

• Curl your lashes! Before mascara.


CHEEKS

Your cheeks completely define your face. High cheekbones are something not many of us are blessed with. If you don't have 'em, make 'em!

• before your powder blush, but only after primer; put on a sheer cream blush, It prevents streaks and holds color.

• buy three shades of blush and one bronzer. Base the three off your complexion. Find a blush that compliments you, this will be your base put it as you normally would. Now look at that shade, and find one like that but with a deeper base color, more rosy, you'll put this right on the apples of your cheeks, closest to the nose. Now find the lightest shade you can of that base color, and put that right above your cheekbones, near the bags of your eyes. Now suck in the hollows of your cheeks, put some bronzer there. Gorgeous cheeks! viola!


LIPS
your lips show emotion. make them shine!

• always wear lip balm.

• put foundation on your lips before you put lipstick on.

• line your lips just outside your lip line. try to make your lips heart-shaped.

Confidence=beauty

I have found something that will make your skin look flawless, add radiance, and make you glow. It's pricey, and although it mainly enhances your beauty, for me it gave me a confidence boost. Now, not only do I look good, but I feel beautiful To me, that's the most important thing.

applying foundation

You might be wondering why your foundation sucks, or maybe how it never blends. Wonder no-more. I know how to fix it. You'll have your foundation looking air-brushed in under 5-minutes!

What you will need:

foundation brush: (top)
This is essential to putting the foundation on your face without the grease of your hands.

Foundation sponge: (middle)
Keeps foundation looking flawless if blended correctly. The wedges are by-far the best.

Powder brush: (bottom)
For the powder foundation, or matte finish.



1. First, Dab a bit of the liquid foundation on the back of your hand, after washing them. Mix the foundation around with the foundation brush. dab foundation on your forehead, cheeks, nose, under the nose, and chin. Spread it around as evenly as possible.

2.Now, wet the sponge and drain all of the access water out. spread the foundation around as best you can, and use extra foundation to fill in missing spots.

3.Now for a flawless finish spread the powder foundation around with this powder brush, you can even use a sponge after the brush to make it more matte.

The no-no's of makeup

These are the things you should stay away from at all costs, The no-no's of make-up, if you will. They are wastes of money and should not be purchased by any means. Terrible quality, horrid finish. you name it, and I've purchased it. That 'wet n' wild' bronzer you see in the photo, a true waste of your $3.75. Horrible make-up tends to love me. what can I say?

Foundation:
It is easy to go wrong with foundation, what with so many different shade, types, brands. Its hard to know what type to buy. You don't want to look cakey, but you want the coverage. I'm sure as long as you stay away from these you'll be in the clear for the most part.

Revlon custom creations- a wonderful idea, yes. I found myself drawn to it immediately. If I'm tanner the next day, I won't have to worry about my make-up. right? no. The quality is thick and greasy. It just feels disgusting the moment you put it on. sorry Revlon.

CG smoothers solid and liquid blend: This would be excellent, but only if the shade is EXACT to your skin, otherwise you have a mask, its NOTICEABLE. Other-wise, the coverage is smooth, and wonderful. It's not a no-no so much as it's a warning.

Trublends mineral loose powder- This IS the no-no of the make-up industry. I could not stress enough for you not to but this product. Unless you care for looking like a 3-year olds craft project I wouldn't wear it. It's too sparkly, it's too orange. It's too thick, and it's too messy. Terrible package, even worse brush. I put it on and I looked like I dipped my face into a bucket of glitter. WITHOUT going into the sun!


Eye Make-up:
I have to say, It's hard to go wrong with eye-make-up. We've all had our fair-share of terrible products. As long as you stay with a trusty company I don't see how you can go wrong.

Spinlash Rotating Mascara- This isn't worth your $15. It does NOTHING, and once the battery runs out it's irreplacable! I was so dissapointed. It looked like a great product. Alas, looks can be decieving.



As for blush, I haven't found a bad product yet. Same goes for eye-shadow, and eye-liner.

These are a few of my Faaayyyyy-vorite things

So, I decided to do a review on all of my favorite make-up items as my first post. I actually don't usually wear make-up, but I love it for some reason. I own tons, but these few are by far my favorites.

• Covergirl's lash blast mascara in black:

I don't think there is anything i adore more then playing up my eyes. This is the best if you want full lashes!

• Covergirl's eye-shadow trio in simmering sands:

This eye-shadow trio is the best. I don't know of anything else that adds definition and depth to your eyes like this will! It works wonders on blue, and green eyes.

• Almay's pure blends all-natural make-up:

This works really well on dry skin just as long as you don't put to much. You just have to use powder foundation after you put this on LIGHTLY!

• Neutrogena's mineral foundation sheers:

This works really well without a liquid foundation, and with one. Just don't put to much on or you'll look like a disco ball!

• Almay's Play up the blue eyeliner:

This is truly for those who can't wear black eye-liner because it's too harsh. This is a must for blue eyes. I don't think I've ever seen my eyes sparkle like that!
